What is modelled.
The whole unit is one circuit, with the loop closed through the optical cell as it is in the hardware. The valves are fitted models.
The optical cell has no published data, so it is a calibrated reconstruction, and the meter reads off it.

The installer is the whole plugin. It runs as a 7-day trial until you sign in with a licence, and needs no account to try.
